Hello!
I am interested in taking the Indian Trails trip during the Pushkar Festival. Has anyone been to the Pushkar Festival? If so, can you tell me about your experience and what I would expect from it?

I went to the Pushkar fair in 2005 and it was one of the highlights of my tour. My tour arrived towards the end of the festival and most of the camels were gone but nonetheless it is very festive. Colorful clothing, music and chanting blaring, and laid back stall owners- everything I expected India to be. I highly recommend it. If they use the same hotel-- it is superb. All of our meals were included buffet style but it was nice to get to try different things. Oh, and Pushkar is completely vegetarian.
