Hello Luci,

Thank you for posting on the forums!

The Rajasthan Explorer does not include entrance fees for sites listed as part of the itinerary. We would recommend you allow approximately USD 60 for these sites. You would need to allow more money for entrance fees for any sites listed as optional excursions, rather than part of the itinerary.

I'd recommend checking out our trip dossier and country dossier to work out how much spending money you'll need. Bear in mind what meals are and aren't included, what extra sightseeing you'd like to do, if you are allowing money for alcohol (there are approximate food and drink prices on our country dossier) and how much you like to shop for souvenirs. Also remember you will need to pay for taxis to and from the airport if you haven't already pre-booked transfers with us.

It's always a good idea to take more money then you expect you will need, to avoid being caught without enough money.

Here are the links to your trip and country dossier:

Happy planning!

Best Wishes,
Kelly

Luggage

Hello Luci

Thanks so much for getting in touch.

I would strongly reccommend that you take with you a large backpack or, failing that, a holdall as (just as you have said) it is very hard to load up a suitcase on a camel or indeed most forms of transport that we use. It would really be appreciated if you could instead opt for a backpack or holdall.
