Rajasthan Explorer in summer

Hello,

I want to travel to Rajasthan during the summer months (July or August). I know that is monsun season in India during this time.
But I think Rajasthan is almost desert. So I can not imagine that there are heavy rainfalls.
Has anybody been there in summer who can tell me his experiences concerning the weahter situation.
Would you recommend to travel to Rajasthan in summer. Thank you. Manuel

Thanks for your post,

You are correct in that the Monsoon in North India is from June to September, and so travelling in these months you can expect heavy down pours.

We do still operate tours in July, August and September even though heavy rains would be likely they don't stop the tours from being enjoyable.
Temperatures can be hot and humid approx 34 degrees.
