We are on the Oct 16th tour and we are unclear on the treatment of bags on the camel safari.
Are the main bags collected at the beginning of the safari and we see them again in Jaisalmer or do we have a reunion each night after the days riding?

Hello,
You will need to have a small day bag to pack some cloths and personal items as your luggage will not be available on each night of the trek.

We are currently in India doing the Rajasthan Safari tour and it is fantastic!!!
The camel trek is a real highlight and hopefully like us will be much more than you could imagine.
As EdTrav confirmed your big bag will continue onto Jaisalmer and you only need a change of clothes, toiletries, medications, sunscreen and a good hat etc in your day pack which will travel with you on your trusty camel through the desert which is looking particularly spectacular as they have had some recent rains in this area.
You can purchase your bottles of water, soft drinks, beer (nice and cold) from the guys on the safari which will be booked up as you go and then just settle your account at the end of the camel safari..... a great setup.
You will enjoy your meals and service provided by the really friendly guys - it's all very professional and super quality.
