Howdy fellow travellers,
I am considering doing the Road to Kathmandu tour commencing the 3rd December and immediately following this with the Classic Everest Base Camp tour on the 23 Dec 00. Anyone out there that's been on either of these tours and can give me any comments, tips, feedback it would be greatly appreciated. I will be travelling on my own and love trekking so that always helps but it would be good to hear directly from someone who has been on the tour and what you thought of it.

So far there isn't anyone booked on the Everest Base camp tour for the date I'm considering and only two for the Kathmandu tour. Is this normal being a couple of months in advance or is this a really bad time to be going (over Xmas and New Year)? If so, I might have to consider different times to go. If you can let me know that would be appreciated.

With over three months to go before the dates you mentioned in your message, it is very difficult to predict how many more people will join these tours.
The Road to Kathmandu is proving to be a very popular trip, so much so that we will be increasing the frequency of departures next year and several people have shown interest in spending the Christmas/New Year period at the top of the world, though have not yet committed to the tour yet.
Whichever dates you do decide to go, I hope you enjoy the trip.
