I am thinking of travelling to China in September of this year and should be able to spend about 4 or 5 weeks away. I was interested in your Beijing to Kathmandu trip but noticed that your tours departing 26/08, 09/09 and 23/09 all already have limited availability. I was wondering how limited limited was?
It may be some time before I know for sure my departure dates so I would appreciate any suggestions on alternative trips through China that you may recommend.

Re: Trip Availabilty
Hi there Melanie,
Limited availability usually means that there are less than four seats available on the trip so it definitely does mean that it is advisable to book as soon as you can.
We are keeping an eye on the departures in August / September and are trying to increase capacity where the trips are already booking up, but I would recommend that you try to book as soon as possible. China is proving extremely popular this year !
In terms of other trips to book, the Sichuan Explorer is a wonderful trip - gets to some really remote parts of China whilst still doing the major sights.
If sailing down the Yangtse is a priority, another excellent trip is the China Unmasked, which again does the major sights (including the Yangtse River) but also goes to some wonderful rural areas in Northern China. These are both adventurer style trips, ie similar in standard to the Beijing to Kathmandu that you mentioned.
