I know Imaginative Traveller can't give advise about vaccinations so a question for everyone else who's been to India and/or Nepal.
Is it necessary to have the rabies and Japanese B vaccinations for these two countries? I'll be trekking in Nepal so guess that counts as being 'more than 24 hours away from a reliable source of vaccine'?
I'm unsure how great the risk really is and they're very expensive vaccines. Obviously don't want to be penny pinching at the expense of my health

Re: Vaccinations for India and Nepal
Hello LottieC
Thanks for your post- I would recommend talking to your local GP about vaccinations. There is also a good travel clininc www.1stcontact.co.uk that have information about vaccinations that will help you.
All the best

Re: Vaccinations for India and Nepal
I decided to go for getting the rabies and the Hep B in the end. Definitely worth the peace of mind.
Leaving today for Kathmandu, can't wait for the trekking![[Smile]](smile.gif)
