We are on the above trip and arriving in Hong Kong 2 days before. What are the best things to fit in in 2 days?
Any hints and tips for the trip very welcome.
Thanks!

No tips for Hong Kong, although I can find out a bit for you froma friend who has recently returned. Am also going on this trip and thought it might be a good idea to make contact and introduce myself. I live and work in Edinburgh as a district nurse; my interests are hill walking, skiing, art and reading. Was born and brought up in Sri Lanka, have wanted to go to China for as long as I can remember. Have two relatively tame teenagers who will not be accompanying me. Regards Sheila Mackie

I enjoyed my trip to Po Lin Monestery (Lantau Island)
Jou can go there strait from the airport ("left luggage" in airport 50HK$ for half day)and take bus to Tung Chung (3.5HK$)and bus from Tung Chung to the monestery 16HK$.
If jou visit it from Kowloon, take the bus to the airport (33HK$) or the train to Tung Chung.
Lantau island is green and hilly. the ideal place to go of you don't like big city's.
ps:if you pay the bus they don't give change!
