As you might be aware, due to the current outbreak of Swine Influenza the UK Foreign Office has now changed its advice and is advising against all but essential travel to Mexico.
Imaginative Traveller do not currently have any travellers in Mexico, and our next group is not due to depart until 13th June. With this in mind we will be continuing to monitor the situation, and will make a final decision about this tour closer to the date of departure.
The advice of the World Health Organisation at present is that travellers to any destinations who are concerned about Swine Flu should contact their doctors or a specialist travel clinic. Whilst travelling they also recommend people wash their hands frequently and use the antiseptic hand wash gels if possible as a preventative measure.
We will be monitoring this situation throughout our destinations through our destination managers and local operators.
