Hi... will be hiking the Inca Trail this July.. understand that it can get a bit chilly, especially during the night. I heard that it is possible to rent sleeping bags in Cuzco... Does anyone know how decent those bags are? are they warm enough? I hate to spend lots of money to purchase a new one! Anyone with some experience... your info would be appreciated!

Re: inca trail + chilly weather?
Hi Traveller13,
Sleeping bags can indeed be rented in Cusco, either through your tour leader or through a travel shop in the city.
They are normally of a good standard and come with a sleeping sheet too. Most shops that rent out sleeping bags will require a refundable deposit for the bag (to stop people from running off with them) but the actual rent isn't too expensive.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Brendan
