I had been planning on doing a SE Asia tour alone but now my boyfriend has decided he wants to come too. We will probably do the Singapore to Bangkok trip later this year. I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of the mix of people on these trips - are there often couples or is it largely singles, and what age groups do you often get on the SE Asia tours? I get the impression (and hope!) that Imaginative Traveller is a bit less of a club 18-30 type company, which seemed to be the appearance of some other companies I looked at, and was put off by.

Hi, i've taken 3 trips with Imag. Traveller in the past few years...Ages range from 20's to late 70's and some are couples and some are singles..i don't think there is any possible way of knowing..Age might sometimes make a difference in the style of the trip...For example...maybe a little older age group will book the conniseur trips....
I don't think i would worry if people are single or what age they are....as these trips are for fun and seeing things and meeeting people and age and marital status have nothing to do with the good time u will have!!!!

Yes, Tracy is spot on (Thank you Tracy!) our trips attract a real mixture of ages, nationalities and a similar Ratio of couples and singles.
Dont worry we are definately NOT a club 18-30 company at all! Infact thats what i love about our trips (i have been on 3 too) its the mixture that makes it!
Everyone who joins our trips want to share their experiences with each other and ultimately want to have fun, which is what we do!

Yup, it's a mixed bag. I was single and not the only one. There were some couples, youngest person was 19, oldest was 67.

We did the Majestic Angkor trip in Nov, and out of our group of 9, the ages ranged from early 20s to early 40s. My wife and I were the only married ones, but there was one other dating couple as well. The best part of the trip is just meeting the variety of people from around the world...You'll have a good time if you go single or with your boyfriend.
