Hi Everybody again!
I have booked the Hanoi to Singapore trip for 6 July and would love to hear off anybody who is going as very nervous!!
Also I would really like to hear from anybody who has done the six week trip in Asia and if you have any advice that would be really appreciated. Or if anybody has done one of these three trips, Vietnam Explorer, Majestic Angkor and Bangkok to Singapore, and could tell me a little about them or answer the following questions it would be great.
Do I only need to arrange my Visa for Vietnam before I depart? Will group Visas be arranged as we enter into the other countries?
What clothes do you recommend - should I be expecting quite a bit of rain as I have read in some parts of South East Asia this is the monsoon season?

Hi Clare,
Lucky you to be travelling all the way from Hanoi to Singapore ! I have just got back from Vietnam where I was sampling the delights of Imaginative Travellers' Beyond the Ho Chi Minh Trail and it was wonderful. Vietnam has a huge amount to offer, as have the other countries that you will be travelling through - Cambodia is a current favourite with many of our tour leaders.
You are correct about visas - Vietnam is the only country where you need to purchase your visa in advance - for the other countries you are able to get the visa on the border.
With the weather, it is difficult to be able to advise you too accurately as you will be covering such a vast area ! You will find that it will be rainy during sections of the trip so it would be advisable to take a rain jacket with you.
However during the rainy season in SE Asia you will often find that although it may rain during part of the day, the rest will be hot and sunny - so make sure that you take your shorts and sunblock too!
