Hi,
I am new to this forum. I haven't booked a trip yet but am having a hard time deciding between the 15 day Bali tour or the Thailand/Singapore tour. This trip would be for next July. I would be traveling with my husband-we are 27 and 28 and are hoping there would be some other couples/singles on the trip around our age who are active.
Any info on either trip?

Thanks for your email.
I would recommend that you take a good look at the country and trip dossiers from our download page (www.imaginative-traveller.com/downloads)to help you decide which trip to go on.
Hopefully other travellers will also be able to fill you in on their own experiences to help you make your mind up. The Bangkok to Singapore tour is very popular, especially amongst our younger travellers whilst the Bali tour has infact been closed for what seems like an eternity as the British Foreign Office was advising against travel there following the Bali bombings.
However, the advice is due to change shortly and I'm glad to say that we expect the tours to start running again sometime after December. I just thought that I would mention this incase you were wondering why nobody got back to you about their trips to Bali!
I hope this helps. [/b][/quote]

Hi Beth. We did the trip from North to South. We liked it this way but you have to remember that it gets more expensive as you go south. The end in Singapore is much nicer than the end in Bangkok but if you go North then you get the beautiful beach part towards the end. You do have time to go off on your own. All your time is free to do as you please - you just travel together. Although we did hang out as a group a lot of the time out of choice.
No you are never too old!!! And yes, I am also a very active person and there is planty to do sports, activities and sight seeing.

If you're after beaches after the tour, you can always pop on a plane from Bangkok to one of the islands. Flights are regular and cheap (or you can always get a ferry/train).
I've just come back from Thailand, and had a great time.
