Bangkok 2 Singapore - Krabi or KPN

I am fexible on my dates for the Bangkok to Singapore trip - would I be missing anything major if I chose a departure date that included Krabi Province instead of Koh Pha Ngan??

Anyone been to both and have a preference? I've heard both are touristy...is there one that is slightly less so?? [Confused]

At the moment Koh Pha Ngan is winning my vote...but i would love to hear from anyone that might know better!!!

Hi,
I've done your trip and I've stayed in both places. The trip until November stays on Koh Pha Ngan l think. No way do they compare with each other!!!!! The beach on Koh Pha Ngan where Imaginative stay is miles away from any touristy spots. There's a few restaurants, bars, cafes and internet places but apart from that it is one of the most idyllic and beautiful places I have seen in my travels with Imaginative. Krabi is nice and is close to great islands annd beaches but yes it is very touristy with a MacDonalds and all! Please go for the Koh Pha Ngan option but I'm sure you'd enjoy both.

There's a McDonals in Krabi???? Oh gosh, I'll definitely choose KPN then!!
