Hi
We have booked the Bangkok to Singapore trip which starts on 26 February 04. Just a few questions for you, 1) how many people have booked so far (sorry - I know it's some time away yet!)?, 2) are we met at Bangkok airport or do we have to make our own way and finally 3) have you got any suggestions regarding mosquito protection? I have read conflicting information on this - some state that we must take anti-malaria pills, others state that this is not necessary and just to use mozi-repellent. What have others done in the past? Any information on this would be most appreciated as I am currently in the process of sorting my vaccinations, etc.
Many thanks for your help.
Kirsty

Re: Bangkok to Singapore - February 04
Hi Kirsty,
Thanks for your post. Well I know the trip is a long way off, but it already has excellent bookings, and at the moment it looks like you will have at least 15 or 16 people on your trip.
If you are arriving on day one of the tour, and we have your flight details at least a month before the trip departs, then we can arrange a free airport transfer for you. Without knowing the details of your booking I can't tell if you already have a transfer booked or not, so you might like to check with your booking agent or us (if you booked directly).
Regarding your questions about malaria prevention - as I'm not a travel health professional I am unable to advise you. My recommendation would be to see if there is a travel health clinic near you, who will be able to help. Alternatively some doctors surgeries have travel health experts. If you want to look on the internet, I found the malaria section of the CDC website, here:

I hope this helps, and that you have an excellent trip.
