I wonder if anyone has any more info as to where we stay after our trek at Mt Kota Kinabalu? - the description is "Rainforest Lodge" at Sukau. It would be great to be able to check out on the web any more info about this place - as it is where we will be on Christmas Day!

Thanks for your post.

The lodge is situated on the edge of the river bank, surrounded by jungle. There are about a dozen small chalets with ensuite facilities. The chalets have mosquito screens to stop any insects getting in, and have mosquito coils inside as well. There's an open dining area - it has a roof but no walls, with comfy lounge chairs. In addition to this, there's a deck area that leads up to the pier, so you can sit by the riverbank.

I hope that this helps. Have a great Christmas - it certainly sounds more interesting than falling asleep in front of a James Bond film!
