Re: Cambodia & Vietnam
i did exactly those 2 trips in jan/feb this year.
TOTALLY AMAZING!!!!! the scenery, the people, the food, the tour leaders, the beer....the list of fantastic things you will encounter is endless. words cannot describe your first view of angkor wat at sunrise. i would recommend you leave cambodia till the end and stay extra nights in siem reap before returning to bangkok because for me that was the highlight - that road journey is one hell of a ride!!!!! also hanoi in feb was cold and very wet so i would recommend a fleece and waterproof jacket/umbrella(not sure about weather in nov).
have a great trip. wish i was going back.......
Re: Cambodia & Vietnam
Hi,
I did the trip last year. My trip started in Hanoi (Vietnam) and finished in Bangkok. It was a great trip, good food, load to see. Ankor is definitely a highlight of the trip but Whale Island was also great. Don't forget to get yourself a suit in Hoi An (really cheap). I made a website of my trip and you can find it at: http://users.pandora.be/dirk.geerits/vietnam2003/
Greetings,

Re: Cambodia & Vietnam
Hi Pilgrim
I did both those tours in Feb/March this year and also went onto Thailand and did that for 6 weeks. The Vietnam & Cambodia tours were absolutely amazing, both were more than I ever expected. Hanoi was cold and wet in Feb and I was lacking on warm clothes! Hoi An, Whale Island and the Mekong Delta were amazing. Cambodia was fantastic though the tour doesnt stay for long enough. On the back of a pickup to the Thai border was one trip I will never forget - totally amazing though. Enjoy it, am sure it will be the best experience ever!
