Combining Thailand and Malaysia Trips

On the Thailand Wilderness Adventure page it says the trip finishes in Krabi to allow people to continue on to Malaysia. I'd like to do that and carry on to join the Naturally Malaysia tour... so how hard is it to travel from Krabi to Kuala Lumpur? Had anyone here done it? Can you go by train? How long does it take? Would it be safe for me (lone 18 year old girl, never been travelling before, bit clueless) to do it on my own??

Lots of questions I know, but I'm new at this.

Re: Combining Thailand and Malaysia Trips

Thanks very much for your quick response.

I just had a look at the Air Asia website, this is going to be so much easier and faster and cheaper than I expected it to be [Big Grin]

Here's another stupid question though, I can find loads of busses and ferries from Krabi to Phuket advertised on the net, but will they still be running in July/August time with it being low season?

Hello Jenn,

Thanks for the posts.

This is something to bring up with the tour leader at the beginning of the tour. They will be able to sort out the trip locally as there are regular ferries and the option of bus journey's.

Have a great trip.
