Anyone joining the VSEA, SAHH, SATE, SAWA, SANA and SAHI tours departing from Bangkok this weekend should note that due to the incredible cremation ceremony of HRH Princess Galyani happening this Saturday all traffic will be blocked in the Banglamphu area from midnight Friday 14th until midnight Saturday 15th. The New World City Hotel which is the Starting point is located about 400 metres inside this exclusion zone. Best thing to do would be to get a taxi to Wat (Temple) Indraviharn in Wisut Kasat Road and walk the 400 metres or so up Samsen Road until you see the hotel sign on left hand side, then turn left into samsen Soi 2 and you will see the hotel. Ignore any Tuk Tuk drivers intent on taking you elsewhere! Good luck
