first aid equipment

Hi Jim

Am visiting Thailand in December. I am aware that the tour leader will have a first aid kit with them on the trekking aspect of tour. Do you recommend that I take my own for the rest of the tour and would I need to go so far as to take hyperdermic needles?

Thanks for your post.

We would recommend that you take a personal first aid kit with you. It's really up to you as to whether it includes hypodermic needles, but it's quite a good idea to do so, to ensure peace of mind in case you needed an injection/transfusion.
