Laos Embassy, Bangkok

Hi,
I'm going to Laos next year and thinking about getting my visa in Bangkok first.
Has anyone done this?
How easy is it to get to the embassy?
The map on their website wasn't much help showing where in Bangkok it is.

Hey Linds,

When I went to Laos I got mine at the border. I imagine you should check if this is still possible with the Embassy. If you get it from Bangkok, again I reckon you should check with Embassy. [url=http://www.travcour.com]www.travcour.com[/url] is a top site to check as well. They are the chaps that the Imaginative Traveller suggest, and in my experience, they are rarely wrong.

Thanks Gustav,

Have already checked Travcour and they don't do visa's for Laos.
And I have heard sometimes the rules can change with no notice for getting a visa at the border but that's what I'll do if I have to.

Would prefer, if I can get any info from anyone, to be on the safe side and get a visa in Bangkok.
