I am considering bringing something useful for children/familires we may meet. Not candy, of course. Perhaps something to leave with a local school or medic [not to encourage begging]. Are any particular supplies desirable? Vitamins? Pens/pencils?
Or just cash?
Also, I read that Baht and Dollars are accepted and more useful than a trunk-load of Kip. Should I bother bring a lot of $1 Dollar bills or rely on Baht?
