Hi - I have read a number of travel advisories against travel in the southern Thai provinces. I am just wondering what the safety situation is like in the area we will be crossing into Thailand as I am in the process of booking the Singapore to Bangkok Tour departing Nov. 17 Thanks very much! Grant

Thailand Border Crossing
Hi Franck,
I'm going on the elephant tour in Sept and afterwards I am planning on back packing down through Thailand to Kaula Lumpar. I too have read about the troubles going on and was wondering what border crossing you use. Or is it safer for me to get a boat from Satun to Sumatra then to Butterworth?
