Hi - I have read a number of travel advisories against travel in the southern Thai provinces. I am just wondering what the safety situation is like in the area we will be crossing into Thailand as I am in the process of booking the Singapore to Bangkok Tour departing Nov. 17 Thanks very much! Thailand Border Crossing

Hi Franck,

I'm going on the elephant tour in Sept and afterwards I am planning on back packing down through Thailand to Kaula Lumpar. I too have read about the troubles going on and was wondering what border crossing you use. Or is it safer for me to get a boat from Satun to Sumatra then to Butterworth?
