I'm leaving for Laos very soon and wanted to change some U.S dollars for the trip. Whoever I found some dollars from past travels but some of them are old. They don't look very fresh and some have pens mark on them.
Is it OK for these dollars to be used in Laos or do they only accept new dollars bill ?
Thanks to let me know as it will help me deciding how much I need to change

I would take new fresh notes if possible that will reduce any possibility of them not being accepted in Laos.
