Saigon Airport

Does anyone know how far out of town the Saigon Airport is? We will be staying at the Hai Long 1 Hotel, Pham Hong Thai Street, District 1, Saigon. Any suggestions on a cheap way to get from the airport to the hotel?

Taxi to HCM airport

Hi,
Usually a taxi works out to about 80,000 VND or about $5. The airport is close to District 1 (where the Hai Long 1 is)The backpacker travel agencies in Pham Ngu Lao probably do some kind of shuttle but not aware of the cost.
