There are 3 of you on the Siam Encounter. However, there are another 10 who are on the Hilltribes and Beaches who will be joining you

Chiang Mai trekking

When we go up to visit the tribe will we need to take our backpack? Or will we be returning to the same guesthouse back in Chiang Mai and so can take a lighter, smaller bag?

Chiang Mai Trekking

Thanks for your post,

You will not need to take your main backpack with you on the Chiang Mai Trek, you can leave this back at the hotel. As you suggested you will need a smaller bag/day pack whilst on the 2 day trek.
