Hiya,
Some friends and myself have booked on to the Wilderness Adventure in Thailand, due to commence January 2006. The tour is for two weeks, however, we will be staying in Thailand for a total of 6 weeks. After extensive research into vaccinations for Thailand, we've found that we're not really any the wiser! and was wondering what other people have done in the past or plan to do for forthcoming trips. Also if they have found that more vaccinations are needed with extended stays for over 1 month.
Causing confusion is the vaccinations for Japanese Enchephalitis, Rabies and oral medication for Malaria.
Providing all the above are required, it works out to be just under

Re: Thailand Vaccinations

Hello,

Thanks for the posting.

In your posting you haven't mentioned your GP which is always a good resource and starting point. Further to that I can recommend that you take some mosquito repellent with a high percentage of Deet or an alternative herbal option.

Hopefully a past traveller will be able to provided some input as well.
