I have recently returned (well now arrived in Australia) after the Singapore- Bangkok tour Jan 29th 2005. For those wondering whether or not Thailand is a good place to visit at the moment i would say a definite yes. Obviously there is devastation in T'land, but the tour didn't cover any of the areas badly affected. I hope the money i spent in the country will help rebuild areas that were affected and give hope to the Thai people who lost their livelyhood and are so happy to see tourists.
I had the most amazing time on the tour, the whole group including Bob our leader, were lovely. As a female travelling alone, this was the best trip i could have done. I will definitely be travelling with The Imaginative Traveller in the future and will be definitely going back to Thailand.
