I've read on my information downloads that it is possible to have a transport pickup on arrival. I have booked to stay at the hotel where the tour starts through my agent & asked them if they could arrange for me to be picked up but they said this isn't possible - can you confirm what the situation is please? Also I'm arranging for my Vietnam visa but am cutting it fine to get a Camodian visa before I travel on 3 Feb, can I get one at the border and for Thailand too?
Thanks
Sharone

Re: Visa & Airport Pickup - Indochina Feb 04
Hi Sharone,
Thank you for your post. If you are arriving day one of the tour (or before, and have also booked pre-tour accommodation with us), and we have your flight details at least a month before the tour starts, then we can normally arrange a transfer. Without knowing your individual booking details it isn't possible to comment on why your agent has advised no transfer applies, so it would be best for you to talk to your agent about this.
You will be able to enter Thailand without a visa. Where possible we do recommend that you obtain a visa for Cambodia in advance either in your home country or a neighbouring country (for example Vietnam or Thailand). If this is not possible visas can be obtained on arrival - this is slightly more expensive. However, if you plan to do this it is important that you contact your nearest Cambodian embassy or consulate for up to date information shortly before you travel.
I hope this helps - have a great trip!
