Visa to Vietnam

For the bike trip from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh City a visa is needed to enter Vietnam, coming from Cambodia. The IT brochure states that it is absolutely necessary that in the visa the entry point of Moc Bai is mentioned specially.
I applied for the visa at the Vietnamese Embassy in Berne (Switzerland) an was told, that nowadays all tourist visas for Vietam are valid at any point of entrance and therefore Moc Bai is not mentioned....
Has anybody recent experiance with that?

Although we always endeavour to provide the correct information with regards to visas, things can change very rapidly in this part of the world.

For this reason, it's always a good idea to check with the embassy in your country, as they will have the most up to date information regarding visas.
