Re: Anyone been to Iran?
Only just seen your message. I have just come back from a week's trip to Iran, though not with Imaginative traveller. What a super, friendly, lovely country! It's so good to be somewhere 'not touristy'. The people, art, architecture, culture, were wonderful, not to mention the weather. Also, wearing a headscarf and long top just means you feel very comfortable and 'fit in' with everyone. There is absolutely none of the hassle in bazaars or elsewhere that one finds in places like Egypt and Morocco. I very much recommend Iran, and just can't wait to go back again.
