Hi all - I am on the Athens-Istanbul tour starting 2 July. (Anyone else booked on this?)
I have decided to stay an additional night in Istanbul at the end of the tour but am now too late to book the extra night accommodation at the tour hotel (Albion) through Imaginative Traveller without incurring a 25 pound admin fee.
Ideally I'd prefer to stay on at the Albion (unless it's totally awful). A previous post said that there was no problem staying an extra night when they were there in June, so I wonder if this would also be the case for July?! Any advice appreciated - don't want to be left homeless for the night, but trying to work out what's decent and not too expensive over Expedia etc is doing my head in!
Thanks, Pippa

Re: Athens to Istanbul - extra accom in Istanbul
Pippa
Why don't you try emailing the hotel direct on info@albionhotels.com
FYI a web booking site for this hotel is quoting US$50 for a room. They charged us US$35 last year. While the hotel is quite good, I don't consider it is worth US$50.
Hope this helps a bit.
