Hi,
I travelled with Imtrav last year and visited Egypt. This year I might do the Cyclades. Is it cheaper to book it online or more recommended to go to a travel agent? What I also would like to find out is whether temperatures are still good in the beginning of September (September, 4 eg)? What do you mean by no extra charges if you travel alone? A room for one person is always more expensive, isn't it? How many people already booked "Islands of adventure" for the period I mentioned?
Regards,
Katrien

Re: Book online?
Hi Katrien,
Thanks for your post. Whether you book with us directly online or through an agent makes no difference to the price you pay. We are dedicated to making sure you receive the very best service - online and through our agents, and have been continually improving our online service to make it completely hassle-free and efficient for you.
Temperatures in Greece in early September should be mild/warm and not too humid. To do a search for world weather this BBC site is a good place to start: http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/destination/destination.shtml
What we mean by saying that you don't pay extra to travel alone is that you won't be penalised as a single traveller by being forced to pay for a single room. On Traveller style tours there is normally a single supplement available if you would like a single room - this is not obligatory however, and you can choose to share with another group member. On Adventurer style tours a single supplement is normally not available and you would share with another group member of the same sex.
The Islands of Adventure tour is an Adventurer tour so you would share with another female on the tour. For details of our 3 Styles of Travel, click here: http://imaginative-traveller.com/3styles/
The Islands of Adventure tour for the 4th September is looking quite busy so far, but still has availability left - so if you would like to book just submit an online booking form via this link: http://imaginative-traveller.com/book/greece.htm
If you haven't looked at it already, you can see the detailed tour dossier here: http://www.imtrav.com/dossiers/taia.pdf
If you have any other questions you can either post here again, or contact us directly on info@imaginative-traveller.com.
Have a great time on the trip!
Regards,
Kelly

Re: Book online?
Can I also book flights from Brussels if I book everything online? And what if I'd like to stay a few extra days in Athens or Pireus after the tour ends? Do you recommend a/some hotel(s) to stay? I'd like a hotel where I can lay on the beach which is near to the hotel then. Or do you recommend another city to stay? Is it always Athens to fly back from?
Re: Book online?
Hi Katrien,
It's nice that you're interested in doing the Islands of Adventure Tour in september. I've already booked for this tour, so may be we meet in Greece then?
About flying to Greece: I've booked a flight with Olympic Airways from Brussels with my own travel agency, but that was before Virgin Express started flying into Athens. They are in general much cheaper than other airlines (Olympic included, bummer for me!), and you can book their flights online. Check out their website at http://www.virgin-express.com/booknow. There are also heaps of other sites where you can book airline tickets online, but shop around for the cheapest price! So you can book your trip and flight online if you want.
Also, there may be cheap charter flights out of Brussels to Athens, for package holiday makers. You would have to check a travel agent for that though.
About the other questions: Imtrav can probably book extra nights before or after the tour in the departure point hotel. I'm not so sure if they can book beach hotels for you, but no doubt they will answer that question here themselves. About other airports than Athens: Athens is the major airport in Greece and the tour starts and ends there, so it will be the easiest to arrive and depart. Otherwise probably you'll have to connect at Athens, which will be expensive unless you fly Olympic airways.
Whatever you decide, have a great holiday!
Robert.

Re: Book online?
Hi again Katrien,
Further to all Robert's info, yes we can book you post-tour accommodation in Athens online - just indicate you would like this on your booking form.
Thanks for your post Robert, I hope you both have a great time in Greece!

Kelly
