Hi!
Recently booked and paid for my Desert Kingdoms Tour through Syria and Jordan beginning on 22 May. However, I took a look at the FCO advice today for Syria. It warns of current unrest in the Kurdish North Eastern provinces but also of riots in Aleppo and Damascus.
Is the tour going to run in light of this?

Re: Desert Kingdoms

Hello Rossa,

Thank you for your post.

We take the security of our travellers and staff extremely seriously and would not run a trip to a destination that we deemed unsafe. We also follow the advice of the British Foreign Office when deciding whether or not should run.

Please also bear in mind that we do have staff based in Syria who are constantly updating us on any recent developments in the region. This tour is currently confirmed to operate, and you can rest assured that we have taken any security issues very seriously.

If the British Foreign Office and our local contacts advised us to cancel tours for safety reasons we would not hesitate to do so, but at the moment everything is running as normal on our Syria tours.

I hope you have a great time!
