No, it does not mean you have to be superfit to take part. If you lead a reasonably active life you will possibly enjoy the walking at sites more but good fitness is not a pre-requisite to take part in this tour and anybody with a reasonable level of health can enjoy themselves on this tour.

I've got a feeling it's supposed to be 'extensive', not 'intensive'. Like the man says, unless you're an invalid you should have no real problems.
Edit: yup, definitely extensive. Prolonged rambles rather than route marches.
