Re: Malaria risk in Turkey - is there one
Hi,
If you visit the website below then they will be able to advise of the malaria risk for where you are travelling. Unfortunately as we're not medical professionals we are unable to give out specific advice ourselves.

You should also visit your GP or local travel clinic and ask for their advice as to whether you will need malaria tablets or not.
I hope this helps,
Best Regards
Nathan

Travelled to Eastern Turkey in 2007 and the "malaria" area is in the East in and around Lake Van. We made sure we were covered from head to foot with clothes and took mosquito spray -- we did not take malaria pills -- the weather helped as it rained for the two nights we were in "mosquito country" so we were lucky.
