We are going on Turkey Land and Sea on 12th July 2008. Is there any malarial risk in Turkey in the regions we will be going in July?

Travelled to Eastern Turkey in 2007 and the "malaria" area is in the East in and around Lake Van. We made sure we were covered from head to foot with clothes and took mosquito spray -- we did not take malaria pills -- the weather helped as it rained for the two nights we were in "mosquito country" so we were lucky.
