I am interested in the October Greek Island tour, however, I have heard that the islands sort of close up after the summer. What can I expect if I travel to the islands in October in terms of weather and access? Also, what do you mean by "small houses"?

In October the wheather is excellent for visiting the Islands.The ferries between the Islands are not different then the other times of the season.
The only thing is ,it is going to be quiet.If you are planning to go there to rest and enjoy the sea and the sun,it is good time to go.
The accommodation we use are simple hotels but really good adventurer standard and good location.
