safety in syria?

Is Syria really still safe with all that is going on in the middle east? I will be travelling there in september so should I still wait to see how things develop? Dennis

Hello there,

Thanks for your post.

The Imaginative Traveller take advice concerning the safety of countries directly from the FCO. Should they deem a country in which we operate to be unsafe, we will contact all those affected by the changes. At the moment we have no such intention for Syria and tours continue to run as planned. If there should be any changes to the situation postings will be made and action taken.
