Hi Everyone,
Here's a link to my blog (and pictures) for my recent trip to Thailand (and my two-night stopover in Tokyo):

I was the winner for the Asia category in the recent Imtrav Photo Competition. And I want to thank the Imaginative Traveller for a wonderful trip. The tour guide was Pong and he is superb (words just aren't enough). He really makes sure everyone has a great time. And what a nice bonus to receive photos on a CD to take home of pictures he took while on the tour.
I've recommended the Imtrav to all my friends. If only they would just get out there and do it!! You'll definitely be seeing me again!
Thanks again,

Hi Stacy,
Thanks for your kind words and for sharing your photos. The temple/shrine in Tokyo (2nd photo down) is Meiji Jingu I believe in Asakusa. (I could be wrong though). Did you see the World's busiest Starbucks (allegedly) as you were crossing Shibuya?
Regards,
Brendan.

I don't remember seeing that Starbucks in Shibuya. I guess I kind of blocked it out because I'm from the land of Starbucks (Seattle-area). I'm so used to seeing them here that it doesn't strike me as odd (or whatever) to see one outside the States...
Re: Bangkok and Beaches (Aug 2006)
Hi Stacy,
I know what you mean - they are everywhere in Seattle, including the headquarters that you can see as you drive from the airport and of course the very first store down on Pike Place is it?
People from Seattle sure do seem to appreciate a good cup of coffee
My favourite coffee store in Seattle was the one under the monorail towards the space needle where they make their own doughnuts instore (can't remember the name).
Regards,
Brendan
