Hi Claire,
it was a great trip and really worth going there. You just must be aware that it is rainy season in summer. The hotels were well chosen and we had enough free time for inividual seight seeing or shopping. If you like Hard Rock Cafe, don't miss Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.

Thanks for your info. I can only go during school holidays as I work in a school & read about the rainy season. Good to hear the hotels are well chosen.

I saw a few HRC in California last year so will check them out if I do decide to do the trip!
