Turkey - A Perfect Holiday Destination

A Love Affair with Turkey

By Gemma Holland – Agency Sales Coordinator

I guess you could say I fell in love with Turkey on my first visit 20 years ago aged 8. My family and I took most of our summer holidays to this beautiful country, staying at different resorts and visiting many wonderful sites. In 2007 I made the decision to work abroad and where else should I work than my favourite country, Turkey! I was lucky enough to work there for 3 years.

Many people when they think of Turkey think of summer holidays, lying by the pool, cheap “genuine” fake designer clothes and mass tourism. Well for those that do think that and don’t step outside their hotel they could not be more wrong!

Turkey has so much to offer - more than can be seen in just one holiday. I thought I had seen almost everything Turkey had to offer but I really had no idea how much I had not explored until I worked there. Here is my story!
