People could find their travel money will last a lot longer if they head to further away destinations, a hotel company has said.
British holidaymakers are being more "savvy" about how they spend their money while abroad, stated managing director at Hotels.com Nigel Pocklington.
"However, those looking to travel slightly further afield will find their spending money could go even further," he added.
Being outside of the eurozone, destinations such as Morocco and Turkey offer British travellers a good deal and are within a relatively short flight away from the UK, he continued.
Those travelling to Morocco this spring may come across the Rose Festival in the town of Kelaa M'gouna. Taking place from May 8th to 10th, the people of the town put on their best clothes to celebrate in the town centre and dance.
According to Morocco Tourism, this year's event will include a "galaxy" of floats decorated in flowers, folklore shows and handicraft exhibitions. Visitors are sprinkled with rose petals and sprayed with rose water.
