A Morocco tour may whet the appetite of holidaymakers looking for good photography opportunities, it has been suggested.
Morocco offers a host of stunning sites and monuments for budding photographers to capture, including the Unesco World Heritage site, Kasbah Ait Benhaddou.
Located five hours' drive from Marrakech, the clay-fortified village has appeared in films such as Gladiator and the Prince of Persia.
Writing in the Metro, John White described Marrakech's main square, Djemaa el Fna, as offering a plethora of photograph opportunities.
"Standing in the vast square, one can't help but feel like an extra in a Cirque Du Soleil production as snake-charmers, singers and dancers perform among the food stalls and spice markets," Mr White commented.
In addition, imaginative explorers may wish to take a look around the Berber villages or discover the Atlas mountain passes and visit north Africa's tallest peak, Mount Toubkal.
Springtime travellers can expect to see the usually semi-arid mountains topped with snow.
