Imaginative travellers who are looking for inspiration on where to go for their next adventure holiday might find that Tanzania is the ideal destination.
According to the Selous Safari Company, the Jongomero Camp is a "hidden gem" and could be perfect for wildlife lovers who want to witness the inhabitants of the Ruaha National Park in their natural habitat.
The firm states that the region boasts an "amazing diversity of animals, which include 20,000 elephant, lion, leopard, hyena, wild dog, buffalo and an amazing selection of antelope including water buck, impala and the rarer sable, roan and greater kudu."
It also contains more than 530 species of bird, the company says.
Furthermore, the geographical location of the camp could make it fantastic for those wanting to get close to these unique animals, as it sits isolated in woodland adjacent to a seasonal sand river.
Visitors to Tanzania may also want to head to Pemba, Zanzibar and the Ngorongoro Crater, according to Lonely Planet.
