Imaginative explorers keen on taking an adventure holiday in the near future have been encouraged to head to Western Australia.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics recently revealed that the number of overseas visitors to the country peaked last year at 12.4 million.
And Richard Madden, adventure travel journalist, speaking on behalf of Tourism Western Australia, suggested that the large number of holidaymakers coming to the nation would benefit from a trip to Western Australia.
He explained that "you can go on these wonderful outback experiences" in the state, which is a "huge area of coastline".
Mr Madden went on to advise adventure travellers to head to the Margaret River, which he said is great for surfing, while hikers should embark on the Cape to Cape Trail.
He added that highlights for wildlife lovers coming to the region include Ningaloo Reef, Monkey Mia and the Kimberly and Karijini National Parks.
The attractions go "on and on", he explained.
