Imaginative travellers heading to Czech Republic this summer may wish to take in some culture at the 44th annual Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
Previous years have seen famous faces such as Scarlett Johansson, Keira Knightley and Leonardo DiCaprio attend the event, Czech Tourism reported.
It goes on to say that the event is the most important international film festival in central and eastern Europe and is the only category A festival to take place in the Czech Republic.
Running from July 3rd to 11th, the event will host a full-length feature film competition, where filmmakers will battle for the Crystal Globe.
There will also be a section entitled East of the West, showcasing the best new titles made in the countries of eastern and central Europe as well as the former Soviet Bloc.
Karlovy Vary, the location for the event, is a "world famous" spa town close to the German border, 120 kilomertres west of Prague.
