A European tour to Poland could be perfect for music and history lovers alike, with the opening of a new museum expected in 2010 - Chopin Year.
This year, the country is celebrating the life and works of the famous musician Frederic Chopin and as part of the festivities the Chopin Museum in Warsaw is being renovated.
It will house the world's largest collection of his printed scores, iconography, musical manuscripts, correspondence, personal items and biographical works.
Chopin Museum curator Alicja Knast commented: "We want the museum to be a universal, inspiring and thoughtful place, corresponding at the same time with the individual needs of the visitors."
She added that the facility will offer visitors more than just headphones, as information will be provided using a number of different mediums.
Chopin was born in Poland before moving to France - his father's homeland - and lived from 1810 to 1849.
He is known for works such as his Preludes, Etudes, Waltzes, Impromptus, Nocturnes and Scherzos.
