Honeymooners 'could go wine-tasting' in Thailand

Wednesday, May 12, 2010

Couples who are planning to go on a south-east Asian tour for their honeymoon may want to consider wine-tasting in Thailand.

Mark Azavedo, writing for Suite101, has noted that viticulture is becoming an increasingly popular sector in Bangkok.

The reporter has listed a number of destinations in the Khao Yai Vineyards that could offer newlyweds a peaceful retreat from the country's capital city.

PB Valley Winery is the oldest establishment of its kind in Khao Yai and produces the wine that is served by Thai Airlines.

Individuals can sample French-style varieties of the drink at Chateau des Brumes Village Farm and Winery, which is an 80-acre property that also serves as a leisure complex.

Another stop-off recommended by the writer is the Granmote Estate Vineyard, which is situated close to PB Valley Winery.

Partners looking to sample luxury on their Thai honeymoon might also like to venture to Royal Phuket Marina, which is a yachting destination often frequented by celebrities and royalty.
