Imaginative travellers looking for the ideal location for a romantic Valentine's holiday on which to propose to their partner might want to consider Greece.
According to Ionian Weddings, the country is one of the best places to pop the question, with secluded beaches, private islands and fabulous sunsets all attracting would-be newlyweds.
The firm stated that some of the most popular places to propose include the island of Skorpios and Santorini's Caldera.
Santorini's Caldera was formed over 3,500 years ago as a result of a volcanic eruption.
It is close to four miles in diameter and offers stunning vistas over the Aegean Sea.
Other possible romantic locations for imaginative travellers include a variety of Greek palaces, chapels, beaches or luxury terraces, the company suggested.
Those heading to the country may also want to visit the world-famous Acropolis, Delphi - home of the Sanctuary of Apollo - Hydra or Zagorohoria, which is a "land of fairytales", Lonely Planet advises.
