Britons looking for ideas on where to visit on their next adventure holiday have been encouraged to head to Israel.
Tom Hall, travel editor at Lonely Planet, recently revealed that Middle Eastern destinations - such as Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey and Egypt - are becoming extremely popular among European holidaymakers, as they offer fun, history and warm hospitality.
And he explained that Israel is one of the best places for people to head to.
Suggesting possible regions to see on their trip, Mr Hall said: "Everyone knows about Jerusalem and the Dead Sea, they're absolutely fantastic."
However, he added that Tel Aviv, which is often the first place people go to when travelling to the country, is a definite must-see destination.
"It really is somewhere [that] has got a growing reputation as a fun and really safe city," he stated.
According to Lonely Planet, the location offers a wide range of nightclubs, beaches and museums.
